It is time to make sure all presents are correctly stowed in the overhead compartments, and all reindeer are securely buckled in for take-off and landing, as the UK Civil Aviation Authority has officially cleared Father Christmas to enter UK airspace, just in time for Christmas Eve.
Father Christmas now has all the required approvals to fly on Christmas Eve. The Civil Aviation Authority has also confirmed that his sleigh has passed all vital safety checks ahead of taking to the air.
Safety inspectors from the Civil Aviation Authority have made sure that all presents are stowed away safely and securely, and that the aircrew understand the vehicle’s elf and safety procedures,
It has also been reported that Christmas cheer is to be handled by qualified experts only and that all sleigh bells ring at an acceptable decibel level.
Andrew McConnell, deputy director of communications at the UK Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed that he’s made a safety list and checked it twice, meaning Father Christmas is now cleared to fly this Christmas!
Father Christmas is expected to take-off from the North Pole on Christmas Eve, arriving back from his trip around the world on Christmas Day.
