Canada’s self-styled “leading ultra-low-cost airline” has come up with a style offering of a different kind with the launch of a clothing line called Swoopwear.
The sartorial addition comes with an “innovative debut product”, Swoop said, offering customers what it said is “the warmest hoodie ever.”
The heat, however, is not generated by the garment. Each of the limited-edition $99 pullovers comes with a return ticket “to a warm and sunny destination of the purchaser’s choice”.
The polyester and cotton hoodie is “not actually that warm”, Swoop said, encouraging shivering Canadians to book trips to the 13 holiday destinations it flies to. The hoodie can then presumably be left in a suitcase, out of which the Bermuda shorts, Speedos and Hawaiian shirts can be retrieved instead.
