The UK’s largest business airport, Farnborough, has announced a collaboration with BMW that will see the German automobile manufacturer employ its all-electric i7 vehicles as part of an initiative to elevate the customer experience.

As part of the airport’s Brand Partnership Programme, three i7 vehicles will be used to chauffeur guests to and from their aircraft, ‘adding a touch of sophistication to the seamless customer journey from arrival to departure’. As well as being the first fully-electric BMW 7 series, the model also features a new luxurious interior with an industry-first ultra-wide 32:9 8K rear-passenger Theatre Screen. “We can’t wait to hear feedback from Farnborough Airport passengers in the coming weeks,” said James Morrison, head of business development at BMW.

“The collaboration with BMW and the showcase of their all-electric i7 not only reflects our dedication to providing a unique guest experience, but is also highlights our commitment to innovation,” commented Simon Geere, CEO at Farnborough Airport. The BMW i7 will also take pride of place on approach to the airport terminal in a unique display.
