On February 16, Caribbean Airlines celebrated its “Carnival Customer Appreciation” day since 2020 when it welcomed “scores of visitors” to Piarco International Airport and the Taste of Trini celebration.
The event was staged by the carrier in partnership with the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (AATT), Tourism Trinidad Limited, Tobago Tourism Agency Limited and the National Carnival Commission (NCC)
“Arriving passengers heard the sweet sounds of Steel Pan and Tassa music as they touched down at the airport and were greeted by traditional carnival characters like the Moko Jumbies, Dame Lorraine and Fancy Sailors,” the airline said.
Caribbean chief executive Garvin Medera said he was “absolutely delighted for the opportunity to ‘welcome home’ so many visitors to Trinidad”.
