Innovation, the urge to be different and unique to attract customers has always been one of the USP’s of airlines across the globe. One such airline is about to make its mark in the skies by offering offering a wine-tasting experience in the air, followed by dinner on the ground, and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Dubbed as the world first winery airline, Invivo Air is all set to launch in 2023  with a unique on-board experience for passengers. Co-founders Rob Cameron and Tim Lightbourne planned to unite the wine lovers with travel lovers and offer a luxury experience at an affordable price.

On its two-hour journey from Auckland to Queenstown, guests will be guided through an eight-step wine-tasting from Invivo’s range, including Graham Norton wines and Invivo X, SJP wines. Non-alcoholic and low-alcoholic options will be available too.

Passengers can enjoy the scenic view of vineyards followed by an overnight stay in Queensland.

“We are not ruling out further flight to other New Zealand destinations as well,” Invivo co-founders Tim Lightbourne and Robin Cameron said in a statement.

Experts view this as an attempt to revive New Zealand’s tourism industry that makes up a significant portion of its economy.
